The Ferrari 308 GTB/GTS/GTBI/GTSI GTB was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1975 when it instantly grabbed attention for its GRP body, which was 15% lighter than the steel-bodied car which superseded it 18 months later. With just over 12,000 cars being produced in little more than a decade, the 308 GTB/GTS/GTBI/GTSI GTB (with a solid roof), and the targa-topped GTS were the nearest Ferrari has come to a mass-market road car. That has meant it’s also one of the most accessible Ferraris for collectors and enthusiasts.
